Cat’s Eye View Balcony Party

The Galveston Humane Society’s (GIHS) 26th Annual Krewe of Barkus & Meoux Mardi Gras parade will host the 10th Annual “A Cat’s Eye View” parade viewing party on the balcony of Trolley Station Building.  This party gives you prime viewing of three family fun parades: The Shriners Hospital for Children & Sunshine Kids Parade, our Krewe of Barkus & Meoux Parade and the Children’s Parade.

A Cat’s Eye View Balcony Party Highlights

• Food, 2 free drink tickets, a cash bar and music
• Puts you in the center of the Mardi Gras action
• Allows you to view all 3 Sunday parades
• A Cat’s Eye View of the fabulous Barkus & Meoux parade featuring area pets, many in their Mardi Gras attire!
• DJ providing entertainment 
  

The Parade and Viewing Party are not only fun, but also raise money for our community support programs, including Spay/Neuter Assistance and Vaccination and Microchip clinics.  The success of these projects depends on the support of individuals and businesses who generously contribute.  Contact the GIHS for details on sponsorship opportunities at 409-740-1919.  The GIHS is a 501c3 organization and your contributions are tax deductible.  

*We are sorry, NO pets are allowed at the Balcony Party or in the Trolley Station Building.
*Children 5 and under may enter the balcony party for free
