Kroger is replacing the Good Neighbor Program with the Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program.

Here's how it works:

1) Click on the link below to open and print the bar code for GIHS.

2) Ask the Kroger checker to scan that bar code, just once, when you present your KrogerPlus Card.

You will be contributing to the GIHS every time you shop! You won't need to remember your other card any longer. What could be easier?

Randall's Food Markets
You can designate the GIHS as a recipient of 1% of your purchase through your Randall's card. This can be done at the customer service counter by coding your card with #2566.

iGive.com
For all you web surfers, there is a new way to help the Shelter. When online, go to http://www.igive.com and become a registered member. List the Shelter as your charity and we begin receiving donations generated from the online shopping and Internet activities of the members. You won't have to spend a dime to help. Just by clicking on the iGive member page, the Shelter will earn a few cents for each click. (You can click up to 5 times a day). It does not seem like very much money, but think about all the people you know that are online, and if they all clicked on the iGive home page 5 times per day, that adds up. Another way you can help is to shop the iGive Mall. The Shelter can earn between 1.5% - 12.5% of the purchase, depending on what you buy.

Paws to Recycle
The GIHS accepts aluminum cans for recycle. All proceeds benefit the shelter.

There are Pennies for Pets donation collection containers throughout Galveston at the following local businesses. If you would like to sponsor a Pennies for Pets container, please contact the shelter.
