The official groundbreaking for the new Galveston Island Humane Society has been rescheduled due to rain.
The new date is Wednesday, September 30th at 10:00 am. The site is located at 6814 Broadway.
Special guests include two supporters who placed the highest bids at the Paws Gala for the opportunity to be a part of this event.
