Students from the Cy-Falls High School Animal Club held a fund raiser following Hurricane Ike to help the Galveston Island Humane Society in our recovery efforts. Through classroom donations and candy sales, they raised and donated $1,300. Inspired by their efforts, artist Acree Carlisle donated a limited edition drawing to the shelter for the new building.
